Our Customer Service Approach
Walking into a Picture Framers, can feel quite daunting. There are hundreds of mat colours and frame samples to choose from and often, not a lot of design direction from the people who are there to help you choose it.
We like to approach this process differently. We endeavour to take the overwhelm and guess work out of it and provide you with clear ideas that can be considered. Our main goal is for you to walk away so confident and happy with our advice, service and workmanship that you keep coming back again and again.
Recently I asked a customer of ours “How come you travel all the way from Bondi to have your framing done with us?” He replied “ Because I only want to do it once!” That was one of the loveliest compliments we’ve had and I hope, once you’ve had something special framed with us, that you feel the same way too.
The Consultation Process
When you place your artwork down in front of us, we like to ask you about it. We gain an understanding about the sentiment and where it will hang. Whether it needs to match a particular piece of furniture or interior style. We discuss colour schemes, the lighting in the room/home, the size of the wall it will be displayed on etc…
Once you’ve painted us a visual story, we tie all the pieces together and advise you on how to most appropriately frame your piece of work.
Quotes are obligation free and last up to 3 months. They can be saved in our system and tweaked at any time prior to placing the order.
If you choose to go ahead with the design (because you love it so much 😉 ) we will get started straight away. Our turn around time is typically 3 weeks, which is dependant on current workload, or whether it’s an oversize or specialty piece. There is no change of mind offered as all materials are cut specifically for your work and are worked on at different stages throughout the 2.5 weeks.
